It's offical. Israel is a normal country just like any other. There is nothing on tv during the day. I did find a Law and Order rerun, but it's one I've seen before. Or I could watch Odetta. Like I said - nothing on television.
What is not usual, is that at Hadassah Ein Kerem, there is an attached mall and even a hotel. It was a pretty busy hospital. Given what else it looked like was going on, we weren't surprised to wait a while for the various tests and exams.
Bonus, I'm going on day 8 without getting lost yet. I had good directions to the hospital last night, so that turned out not to be an issue. But today is another day....so getting lost is still a possibility.

Maybe you should just keep going to the hospital - consider that home base!
I hope all these medical situations are NOT serious AND are NOT yours personally......
Golda Meir put it a bit differently. I think she said "Israel will be a country like all others when we have Jewish criminals and Jewish prostitutes". I don't think that took very long.
